Ordinary angle steel mainly refers to hot rolled directly without any processed angle steel. The surface quality of angle steel is stipulated in the standard. Generally speaking, there should be no harmful defects, such as scarring, delamination, cracks, etc.
The allowable range of geometric deviation of the angle steel is also stipulated in the standard, generally including the bending degree, edge width, edge thickness, top angle, theoretical weight and so on, and the angle steel must not have a significant twist.
Angle steel is a structural carbon steel for construction. It is a simple section steel, mainly used for metal components and workshop frame. Good weldability, plastic deformation and certain mechanical strength are required in use. The raw material billet for producing angle steel is low carbon steel billet, and the finished angle steel is delivered in hot rolling, normalizing or hot rolling.
Galvanized angle steel is divided into hot-dip galvanized steel and cold galvanized angle steel. Hot dip galvanized angle steel is also called hot-dip galvanized steel or hot dip galvanized angle steel. The cold galvanizing coating mainly guarantees the full contact between zinc powder and steel by electrochemical principle, and produces electrode potential difference for anticorrosion. Hot dip galvanized angle steel has surface gloss, uniform zinc layer, no leakage plating, no drips, strong adhesion and strong corrosion resistance.
