Application of zinc pipe
In order to improve the corrosion resistance of steel pipes, galvanizing is applied to common steel pipes. Galvanized steel pipes are divided into hot-dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing. Hot-dip galvanizing has thick galvanizing layer, low galvanizing cost and poor lubrication in appearance. Oxygen-blowing welded pipe: used as oxygen-blowing pipe for steelmaking, usually small-caliber welded pipe, standard from 3/8-2 inch eight kinds. Made of 08, 10, 15, 20 or 195-Q235 steel strips, in order to prevent corrosion, some of them need to be aluminized.
Most of the old houses used galvanized pipes. Now the kind of iron pipes used for gas and heating are galvanized pipes. Galvanized pipes are used as water pipes. At present, galvanized pipes are seldom used in cold pipes of newly built residential areas, and galvanized pipes are used in hot pipes of some residential areas.
Classification of galvanized tubes
Galvanized steel pipes are divided into cold-plated pipes and hot-plated pipes. The former has been banned, while the latter has been initiated by the state for temporary use.
Hot dip galvanized pipe
It is to make molten metal and iron matrix react to produce alloy layer, so that the matrix and coating are combined. Hot-dip galvanizing first pickles steel pipes. In order to remove iron oxide from the surface of steel pipes, after pickling, the steel pipes are cleaned by ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution or ammonium chloride and zinc chloride mixed aqueous solution tank, and then sent to hot-dip galvanizing tank. Hot-dip galvanizing has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion and long service life.
Cold galvanized pipe
Cold galvanizing is galvanizing. The amount of galvanizing is very small. As long as 10-50g/m2, the corrosion resistance of cold galvanizing is much different from that of hot galvanizing tubes. Normal galvanized pipe manufacturers, in order to ensure quality, mostly do not use galvanized (cold plating). As long as those small enterprises with obsolete equipment adopt galvanizing, of course, their prices are relatively cheap. At present, the Ministry of Construction has officially selected the cold galvanized pipes with backward technology. In the future, the cold galvanized pipes are not allowed to be used as water and gas pipes.
Hot-dip galvanized steel pipe
The physical and chemical reactions between the steel tube matrix and the molten plating solution are disorderly, forming a zinc-iron alloy layer with a close corrosion resistance structure. The alloy layer is integrated with pure zinc layer and steel tube matrix. Therefore, it has strong corrosion resistance.
